ABOUT BCNV
BCNV (Breast Cancer Network Vietnam) was founded in 2013, initiated by Ms. Thuong Sobey (1982-2015), a stage-4 breast cancer patient whose cancer had metastasized to her bones at the time of diagnosis on March 3, 2013. In its early days, BCNV operated as a nonprofit organization. It was later transformed into a social enterprise on January 8, 2018, while maintaining its commitment to nonprofit goals through:
Mission:
(1) Enhancing the quality of life for individuals directly and indirectly affected by breast cancer through practical support projects such as a wig library, bras and breast prosthetics, yoga, and specialized workshops.
(2) Raising community awareness by providing accurate educational information to promote early screening and detection of breast cancer.

“Aspiring towards a future in Vietnam where no one dies due to a lack of knowledge or support in the fight against breast cancer.”

OBJECTIVE
The Marcom Manager will be responsible for developing and executing BCNV’s marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and support for our mission. This role will lead all communications efforts, from digital marketing to media relations, events, and partnerships, ensuring that our messaging aligns with our values and mission.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Strategy Development and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to promote BCNV’s mission and programs.
- Create annual marketing and communications plans that support organizational goals and outreach objectives.
- Oversee brand management, ensuring that BCNV’s voice, image, and values are consistently represented.
- Content Creation and Management
- Produce high-quality, impactful content for various platforms (social media, website, newsletters, etc.) that resonates with target audiences.
- Manage content calendar, scheduling posts, campaigns, and communications to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with program managers to highlight stories, achievements, and updates from BCNV’s initiatives.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media
- Lead social media campaigns and digital marketing efforts, including email marketing, to drive engagement and donations.
- Analyze digital metrics and report on performance, providing insights to optimize campaigns.
- Manage online presence and update the website with timely, relevant content.
- Media and Public Relations
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key opinion leaders to enhance BCNV’s visibility.
- Develop press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to support campaigns and events.
- Coordinate interviews, speaking engagements, and appearances to strengthen BCNV’s advocacy efforts.
- Events and Campaigns
- Plan, promote, and execute BCNV events and fundraising campaigns, working with partners and stakeholders to maximize impact.
- Organize logistics and communications for awareness events to drive participation and donations.
- Engage with corporate sponsors and partners to secure support for campaigns and events.
- Stakeholder and Community Engagement
- Develop partnerships with local and international NGOs, health organizations, and corporate partners.
- Collaborate with BCNV’s board and volunteers to build a cohesive community of advocates and supporters.
- Support patient support groups and community events to strengthen engagement and foster a sense of community.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the nonprofit or health sector.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Experience in content creation, public relations, and event planning.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse groups.
- Preferred:
- Experience working in the health or social impact sector.
- Familiarity with breast cancer advocacy and support issues in Vietnam.
